Base Camp

Tell us more about Base Camp!
Can you add extra facilities, or expand it into a larger town?

At Base Camp, you can create new items, upgrade equipment, and prepare for future expeditions.
Each hero manages a different facility that utilizes their unique skillset, and they fulfill work requests while other heroes are exploring the Abyss.
Right, each hero has their own specialty:
The Rogue produces wood at the Workshop.
The Caster can create material stone at the Atelier.
The Warrior uses materials to fortify weapons and equipment at the Forge.
The Archer tends to the livestock and collects their byproducts in the Fields.
The Farmer grows crops on the Farm.
The Fighter cooks dishes in the Kitchen with ingredients from the Farm and Fields.
And the Wanderer can swap places with the others to take over any facility as needed.
These are the only facilities available, and the game has no town-building elements.
By the way, don't forget to check the Challenge Missions with me at the Great Crystal!
I'll give you all sorts of rewards for completing various objectives in the Abyss.

So each hero has their own facility.
Did they bring their own tools, or...?

Hee hee, we actually built everything from the ground up! Amazing, right?
With everyone working together, we finished those facilities in no time at all.
You didn't expect them to drag a heavy stove or anything along with them, did you?

How do you grow crops and care for animals?

Every hero except the Wanderer manages a facility that takes advantage of their unique skills.
Before you explore the Abyss, you can ask anyone to produce something for you while you're gone.
If you want turnips, for example, ask the Farmer to grow them. Or if you want milk from the cows, you can ask the Archer.
By the way, if you want to explore the Abyss with the Farmer or Archer, no worries! The multi-talented Wanderer can take over their jobs.
You can then use these materials for forging or cooking. With the right items, you can even instantly complete certain requests.

Where do all the heroes sleep?

Oh, I can answer this one!
Everyone has their favorite resting spot.
Some like to sleep close to my crystal, perhaps to keep me company. Others like to sleep out in the fields with the cows... Well, maybe just the Archer.
The Rogue's soft, handmade pillows must keep their necks from getting sore after all that adventuring!
So you're essentially describing...a cuddle puddle?
...I guess so?

Do the monsters ever crawl out of the Abyss?

No, they prefer to haunt its dark depths.
The Princess's presence at the edge of the Abyss probably prevents them from escaping.
Yes, which is why I've chosen to remain here all this time!
That and I'm still waiting for the King to return to us...
